They had four children, Gladys Mary Violet born 1889 in Jersey, Lillian Frances born 1890 in Pembroke, died in 1926, Violet Eileen Kernaghan born 1893 in Pembroke, died in 1915, and Graham H Kernaghan born 1894 in Colchester, he died in 1916.
