This family was recorded in the 1841 census. The census shows Peter, a farmer in Grande Vingtaine, St Peter, aged 30, living with Jane, also 30, Elias, 25, Mary, 8, Henrietta, 6 and Philip, 9 months. We assume that Elias is the brother Elie shown in the tree above. There is no death record for Pierre Francois between 1837 and 1841. The census also shows Amice, also a farmer, who we believe to be Pierre's half brother, living next door with his children John, Amice and Mary Ann
