The identity of some of the Gorins included in the CIGWSG Roll of Honour and Roll of Service is uncertain. There is a reference to two brothers, and we believe that they are as shown below, although the 1911 census return for the family names the brothers as Jean and Pierre. John Frank Gorin did not appear in the official 1919 Roll of Honour, which did list a Private Peter Gorin as a casualty. Four of those listed in the Roll of Service are noted as requiring 'further investigation'. We believe that some who were baptised Francis and/or Jean may appear in service records as Frank and/or John, not necessarily in the same order.
