Barfleur is a small fishing village on the north-east coast of Normandy's Cotentin peninsular. Covering only 60 hectares, it is the smallest commune in the Manche department. It has long been a popular destination for Jersey boat owners wishing to venture a little further afield than the Cotentin's west coast
