Charles Asplet (1813-1891) grocer and wine merchant in St Helier, and his daughter, Mary Asplet (1859-1882)

This tree, first added to the site in 2012, was lacking in detail, but in 2017 further research provided most of the missing dates and proved the tree to have been accurate. The tree was reviewed again in 2018 and further details added, including parishes of births and marriages

The tree was further reviewed in 2021 and extra details and descendants added. A first marriage for grocer Charles Asplet at generation 10, together with children and more details elsewhere in the tree, were added by Mike Bisson in 2023.

He also removed a duplicate and inaccurate descent from John Asplet and Jane Gallichan at generation 11

There remain some doubts about dates of birth/baptism in the 17th century generations
