Hedley's diary

Hedley Clement's post-war diary is a work of fiction, but a nevertheless serious and important history of post-Occupation Jersey from 9 May 1945 onwards. It is based on reports in the pages of the Evening Post in the days, weeks and months following Jersey's Liberation from German Occupation. Researched by Marion Falle and written by Mike Bisson, this diary will gradually build into the most detailed history ever produced of the time. It will chart the island's return to normality after the dark days of occupation.

Work on the diary is currently suspended due to time pressures but we hope to resume in the near future
