Old Jersey Houses
A single paragraph in Volume Two notes the stone and says that the house must have passed by marriage from the De La Place to the Pipon family.
In the Appariement de St Brelade of 1796 the 16th Chef de Charette was Richard Pipon, probably the son of Jean and Francoise whose initials are on the datestone. All that remained in 1977 were some window lintels which could date from 1726.
