Historic Environment Record entry

Listed building

This late 19th century farm building retains its historic proportions and external character. Contributes to the farm group. Western section of two-storey farm range, now converted. 20th century extension to west.

Former carriage entrance with flattened arch, modern infill. The 1795 Richmond map shows buildings on the site to the east of the present farm, and there is recorded evidence of a farm on the site since 1725

The house is likely early-mid 19th century, with later alterations. The converted cowshed retains a De Gruchy pump for liquid manure, peculiar to Jersey farming. Detached house, two-storey, five-bay, with wing to west. To the west is a converted former cow shed, now Le Jardin Potager, of granite construction with some brick dressings. The interior retains a corbelled granite fireplace. Le Pre aux Pommiers: This late 19th century farm building retains its historic proportions and external character. Contributes to the farm group.
