Maison Charles

Maison Charles adjoins Le Bel Royal at the crossroads where St Aubin's Road, Victoria Avenue, Route de la Haule and St Peter's Valley intersect. Legend has it that Charles II visited or stayed there while in exile in Jersey, but historians have dismissed this idea and say that the house was named after Charles Le Roux, not the king.
