Pierre Hugon/Uguon/Ygon, Bailiff of Jersey twice between 1324 and 1332

Pierre Uguon (this spelling of the name appears to be favoured) is listed by J A Messervy as one of the Jurats between whom the office of Bailiff alternated between 1324 and 1332 and that he held the position twice.

Nothing else is known about him, although Messervy does suggest that he gave his name to the Fief de Pierre Ygon, or Pierigon, in St Martin. Ygon is a surname found relatively frequently in early Jersey records, although it is now extinct.
