The estate agent's description included: "The farm buildings which stood to the north of the original cod house have been replaced by an extension which includes the main door to the house. The cod house's architecture can be seen in the traditional arrangement of the façade, with five first-floor windows, and four windows and a door at ground level. The property was acquired n 1969 by the present owners, who have developed the house and its large garden in a series of projects.

Although this luxurious country house in a quiet St Mary lane has been substantially enlarged and remodelled, it is clearly based on a property of some antiquity. However, it is not a listed property and, although the name may have been changed, we have been unable to find any historical references to the house
