Listed building
Historic farm group which has developed from circa 16th/17th century, with 18th and 19th centuries phases, retaining exterior character and stonework. Of most significance is the farmhouse, of pre-1650 origins, the other buildings being of value to the historic group.
A cluster of buildings set around a central yard are shown on the 1795 Richmond Map. The earliest building on site is Neuilly Farm, the 1713 façade datestone likely recording an early 18th century re-facing of the house, as the presence of a tourelle staircase gives the building much earlier origins.
Parts of La Cotte may have had contemporaneous origins with Neuilly Farm, but it has been greatly developed and extended. Neuilly Cottage and Ivydene date to the mid-late 19th century.
The original farmhouse, Neuilly Farm, is joined to the north by Neuilly Cottage; with a detached single-storey converted outbuilding - La Cotte - to the east; and a detached building - Ivydene - on the roadside to the northeast.
